Investigation of detonation transfer by explosion of munitions in depots

The idea of this paper derives from the occurrence of explosions at munitions depots. In order to consider such phenomena, the processes of literary sensitivity and the initiation of explosive materials (EM) to an external shock wave are approached. In addition, an analysis of the effects that influence the chemical composition and technical characteristics of certain munitions that are in operational use of the Serbian Army (VS) was also used. Guided by the existing UN tests and tests of the other countries, the analyses and estimates were done on the possible acceptance and transmission of detonation for selected individual and packaged munitions. In conclusion, the problems and factors that play a crucial role in the transfer of detonation are presented.
