In this study, we built a simulator for cholesteric liquid crystal display (Ch-LCD) with a well calibrated projector. Reproduction performance of the simulator has been verified by a subjective experiment. The simulator was utilized to conduct subjective experiments to obtain the color difference thresholds for image sticking Phenomenon on Ch-LCD.
