Multi-bit Dynamic Self-Refreshing Memory-in-Pixel Circuit for Ultra Low Power LTPS TFT-LCD

摘要

A 2-bit ultra low power dynamic Self-Refreshing-Pixel Memory in Pixel (SRP-MIP) circuit is successfully integrated into a 6.0"qHD (540×900) reflective LTPS TFT-LCD. Measured power consumption in MIP mode is 2mW and high reflectance of 21% is achieved. The prototype is compatible with 60Hz movie mode with excellent LC response time.
