In the stereoscopic technologies to provide a different image to the person's left and right eyes, Liquid crystal shutter glasses are used in conjunction with a display screen to create the illusion of a three dimensional image. However, the flicker can be noticeable due to the slow response time of the LC shutter. In this paper, to remove the flicker, we introduce twisted nematic (TN) mode fabricated by a dual frequency liquid crystal (DFLC) material with a fast response.
