An Unsteady Lifting-Line Theory has been implemented in an industrial code for the simulation of rotors, single propellers and counter-rotating propellers. This lifting-line code is used to deepen the understanding of in-plane loads generated when a propeller is in incidence. Comparisons between experimental measurements, CFD URANS computations and lifting-line code simulations are presented.
