HUMIDITY EFFECTS ON SILICONE PRIMERS AS ADHESION PROMOTERS

Silicone primers are designed to help promote adhesion between materials that under other circumstances may not adhere. Silicone chemistry requires water to form the networks needed for promotion. These results suggest that adhesion is still promoted even in conditions outside of the manufacturers specifications.
