Invited Paper: DisplayPort~® 1.2, Embedded DisplayPort, and Future Trends

摘要

This paper presents a short overview of the DisplayPort display interface standard. New capabilities introduced by DisplayPort 1.2 are described as are derivative standards including the Embedded DisplayPort Standard. DisplayPort is positioned to replace other computer display interfaces that have been in existence for over 10 years. DisplayPort is also compared to some of these existing standards.
