摘要

This article examined whether students' dispositional factors associated with human relationships influenced their expectation of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in their future workplace. Hierarchical regression analysis was adopted to analyze data collected from 335 students at a private university in Tokyo. Shyness had a significantly negative effect on three of five OCB dimensions, and self-monitoring had a significantly positive impact on two of them. Of the two aspects of affiliation motive, that is, affiliative tendency and sensitivity to rejection, the positive effect of the former on all OCB dimensions was significant, whereas only two effects of the latter were significant. The significant moderating effects of gender and work experience were also found in five models.
