CRITICAL FACTORS INFLUENCING THE ADOPTION OF COMPUTERIZED CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINES

The purpose of this study is to investigate the critical factors influencing the adoption of computerized Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs). Survey methodology was employed and the subjects were physicians in Taiwanese hospitals. A total of 82 valid questionnaires was collected. The results revealed that factors including trialability, complexity, timeliness, attitude, lack of organizational capability, and work group influence were important factors when adopting computerized CPGs.
