A course in Educational Psychology uses unconventional activities and testing methods to help students experience aspects of the subject. Metacognitive aspects of the learning process were significantly enhanced through the development of an Excel-based Student Portfolio. The Portfolio is adaptable to other courses of study and other learning contexts.
