This paper addresses the technical (using performance parameters such as Yield, Performance Ratio and Capacity Factor) and economic (using the Levelised Cost of Energy - LCOE) ev aluation of a 2 MW photovoltaic solar power plant to be installed in the municipality of Jaguari-RS, comparing two different technologies of photovoltaic modules (multicrystalline silicon and thin-film cadmium telluride) and three different mounting systems (stationary, single axis tracker and two axes tracker), totalizing six different topologies.
