BUILDING-INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAICS (BIPV) OVER THE TIME - ILLUSTRATED BY MEANS OF EXAMPLES FROM COMPETITIONS

摘要

Starting in the year 2000, the Bavarian Association for the Promotion of Solar Energy (SeV Bayern) has organized the competitions "Building-Integrated Solar Technology". The aim of this award is to make exemplary solutions in qualitatively sophisticated architecture accessible to the greater public. Since the year 2000 seven competitions have been organized, with some 30 prize-winners. The awarded competition entries show the huge potential of coherent integrated solar technology (PV, but also solarthermal) as a part of advanced architectural and energy building concepts. The intension of the work is to illustrate how BIPV has changed within the last 17 years - by means of examples coming from the competitions.
