摘要

This research aims to create a scenario where every household in the future will be susceptible to the consumption of larger loads due to electrification of heat and transport. Based on the notion of 'community energy', which advocates collective generation, management and sharing of energy from both grid and photovoltaic systems, the idea of this research is to be able to support the community function beyond its current capacity with little or no change to the core distribution network like underground cable layouts. This is to be implemented by integrating battery storage systems in the community based on optimum locations for maximum overall impact by maximizing energy utilisation 9within the community and minimizing energy loss under an acceptable rate of voltage fluctuation.
