Losses of energy of two counter - propagating transverse - magnetic waves in the absorbing plate in a waveguide

The propagation of two transverse - magnetic (TM) waves with different initial phases in the regular ideal waveguide, where is placed the absorbing plate, is considered. Supposed, that two coherent waves have opposite directions of propagation. The losses of energy in the absorbing plate are found. Some aspects of tunnel interference in the absorbing plate in the waveguide are discovered.
