Review of Supply Chain Coordination with Contracts

摘要

Today it is widely recognized that effective supply chain (SC) coordination is essential for organizations to survive and prosper in the global market and networked economy. Supply chain contracts,as one of effective supply chain coordination mechanisms,is getting more and more attention. A systematic review of supply chain contracts is presented in this paper. Firstly,the paper discusses the concept and role of SC contracts. Then four major types of SC contracts and their research progress are detailed,including wholesale price contracts,buyback contracts,revenue-sharing contracts and quantity flexibility contracts. The paper also elaborates the contract issues about reverse supply chain and closed-loop supply chain. Some gaps in the research of SC contracts are pointed out finally.
