摘要

In order to prove MPLS Traffic Engineering (MPLS-TE) improving the quality of communication networks effectively, a study on network quality of service based on MPLS-TE was taken in this paper. Firstly, a topology was built in the Juniper Networks platforms after a brief introduction for the main structure and implementation mechanism of MPLS-TE. Then, this paper made tests and analysis for load balance and fast rerouting under the network based on MPLS-TE. By comparing with IP network, it can be seen that the traffic engineering based on MPLS has greatly improved the network quality of service, which effect is significantly better than the pure IP network. The result has a high practical value for the development of Traffic Engineering based on MPLS in the future.
