Performance Evaluation for Service-oriented Local Government Reform in P. R. China

摘要

During the last two decades, China government carried out a series of service-oriented reforms to improve the government function in terms of public service. However, the evaluation of the effectiveness of service-oriented government reform has yet to be undertaken in current scholarship. This article will attempt to formulate an evaluation system for assessing -the effectiveness of service-oriented government reforms in China, with case studies on three Chinese municipalities.
