Due to the high costs and long research period of fuze design, Fuze Virtual Test System is put forward which has two main modules-virtual environment database and virtual prototype design. The function architecture and realization mode of each part are discussed. Taking fuze clock mechanism as an example, virtual test of the runaway escapement including machining errors which focus on impact of machining errors on motion characteristics of the runaway escapement are introduced. The example results validate Fuze Virtual Test System's feasibility.
