摘要

In present study, the approach of graft copolymerization has been used to reduce the stero-regularity of PHBV. Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) was used as the monomer to produce PHBV-g-GMA graft copolymer. The grafting degree was determined by acid-alkali titration. The orthogonal experimental design was applied to determine the best reaction conditions. The effect of the content of initiator, the content of monomer, the content of co-monomer and the roller speed on the grafting degree was explored. Also, the effect of the grafting degree on crystallization behaviour of PHBV-g-GMA graft copolymer has been investigated. The results showed that the introduction of GMA has twofold effect on the nucleation and growth of PHBV crystallization process. In addition, the thermal stability of grafted PHBV decreased because of the occurrence of the thermal decomposition during melt grafting process.
