Internationalization of RMB: Historic mission and path choice

摘要

This paper studies historic mission of the internationalization of the RMB. This study shows that RMB already has the basic conditions of the internationalization and will eventually become the world's major currencies. Based on this, this path should be followed by firstly the settlement money, then the investment money and last, the reserve currency. As a result, the internationalization of the RMB could be actively and steadily pushed forward.
