Simulation of groundwater level variation of a rainfall-related landslide in Japan

摘要

The seasonal rainfall and rainfall-induced variation of groundwater state is the main reason that can provoke the activities of crystalline schist landslide of Japan and even lead to the failure of landslide. Based on the long-term observation data on precipitation and groundwater level at a typical crystalline schist landslide, Zentoku landslide, a method of simulating groundwater level was proposed by designing a Tank model. By analyzing and comparing the actual groundwater data with the simulated results, it was proved that this method is reasonable and available to evaluate and predict the groundwater state of rainfall-related landslide.
