摘要

This paper proposes a method of self-adaptive container opening control forthe rocket assisted mortar projectile. The method is mainly based on theprojectile flying range, and the flying height has also been taken intoaccount. The trajectory differential equations of the projectile are built. Thenumerical solution of the fourth order Runge-Kutta method is used to solvethe trajectory differential equations. On the basis of the projectile axialacceleration measurement and the numerical solution of the trajectorydifferential equations, the flying range and height can be calculated.According to the influences of the projectile flying range and height to thesubmunitions dispersion, a proper container opening point in the trajectorycan be determined. The container opening control method is proved be validby simulation and shooting range tests.
