Implementing a Quality Management System to comply with ISO 9001 and Beyond: How Diving Companies can apply it and excel

This presentation shows the benefits of implementing a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001 standard and how to use electronic tools to ensure that needed information is available anytime, anywhere, on land or offshore. We will also show how ISO concepts -long thought just for manufacturing- can actually improve a diving organization's overall performance, employee confidence and morale, enhanced communication and bring everyone onboard to achieve world class quality. We will demonstrate how electronic quality management system can bring visibility, accountability to all aspects of the business plus ensure requirements such as offshore employee certifications are kept up to date. Some of the benefits that will be explained are customer satisfaction, supply chain, corrective and preventive action, calibration, non conformances, internal audits, process mapping and standardization of procedures, E-Learning and training, Employee certifications. We will show all of this in the context of an actual company who has established a true quality management system.
