In flight thrust estimation for future fighter engines

摘要

In this article a model-based gross thrust estimation for turbofan engines is discussed. A thrust estimation filter is applied to a low bypass ratio turbofan engine. The estimator is based on a gross thrust model. The parameter in the estimator as well as the corresponding validation of parameters are based on the use of "Leave One Out Cross Validation" technique.
