Four Informative Plus Entertaining Movies on DVD’s that Explain ABC Solutions to the General Public

Four award winning California bridge documentaries which entertain but inform the public about Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) are discussed in this paper. The films feature the rebuilding of the fire damaged MacArthur Maze Bridge, ABC in use at the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge and accelerated construction on a high traffic section of Interstate 5 in Sacramento California. These films make liberal use of animation and graphics to make complex engineering topics easier to understand and more accessible to the general public.
