摘要

Solid state combinatorial chemistry was implemented to discover new oxynitirde phosphors for use in white light emitting diodes. A two-step high throughput screening was implemented in YN-AIN-SiN4/3 ternary system based on random choices. We pinpointed a host structure Y_(6+x/3)Si_(11-y) Al_yN_(20+x-y)O_(1-x-y) (x= 0-3, y=0~3), the refined structure of which was the trigonal (P31c) with lattice parameters a = b = 9.81513 A, c = 10.6305A, a=p=90°, y= 120°. Y_6Si_(11-x)Al_xN_(20-x)O_(1+x)x:Re~(3+) (Re=Ce~(3+), Tb~(3+), Sm~(3+)) phosphors exhibited an acceptable emission in green to red color range at blue or ultra violet excitations.
