Ultra-Slim 7-in. Light-Guide Plate (LGP) Using Roll-to-Roll (R2R) UV Embossing Process

We proposed a 7 inch ultra-slim LGP fabricated by R2R UV embossing process which has the advantage of high throughput and high microstructural transfer rate. The surface plasma treatment is applied to enhance the adhesion. A 0.42mm prototype with outcoupling etching-dots is achieved with its uniformity more than 70%.
