Preparation and Characterization of Anatase Mesoporous TiO2 Particles Using Ionic Liquids as Template Solvents for Photocatalysis

摘要

Synthesis of mesoporous TiO₂ particles using ionic liquid (IL)-assisted sol-gel method was investigated. The product was analyzed and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), and N₂ adsorption and desorption. The products revealed higher photo catalytic activities than that of the commercially available TiO₂, Degussa P25 in the photo degradation of methylene Blue.
