According to the function of Palletized Loading System(PLS) and the operation principle of automatic loading mechanism, a fuzzy controller is designed with two input variables and one output variable in it and is achieved via the method of off-line inference and on-line looking up table in Programmable Logic Controller(PLC). The fuzzy controller is used to control the PLC's PWM signal and then control the moving speed of the automatic loading mechanism. Thereby smooth operation can be ensured. The test shows that the effect accords with anticipative goal.
