Rumen Delivery of the Anthelmintic Compounds Albendazole and Abamectin From a New Delivery Technology

This study determined the in vivo release rate of two anthelmintic compounds (albendazole and abamectin) from a new rumen bolus delivery technology. Fistulated cattle were used in the experiments and release profiles were observed to be linear and sustained for upwards of 4 months.
