摘要

We report the fabrication and characterization of ultrathin multilayered films that provide control over the release of DNA from surfaces. The approach is based on the synthesis of 'charge-shifting' cationic polymers, and permits the fabrication of surface coatings that enable (i) tunable control over the release of a single DNA construct and (ii) control over the release of two DNA constructs with separate and distinct release profiles.
