In the traditional kinetics analysis method for coupled vibration of vehicle-bridge system, the vehicle model's kinetic equations are needed to be derived manually and the vehicle models therefore are not detailed. With the requirement of detailed vehicle models, the nonlinear property of the vehicles makes it very difficult to establish the vehicle dynamics model manually. In this study, the multi-body system dynamics is introduced to build up refined vehicle models and to form kinetic equations automatically by programs. The processes of establishing vehicle kinetic model based on multibody system and bridge kinetic model based on finite element method are both introduced first. And the data exchange between multi-body system and finite element system are introduced later. Finally, taking a simply supported beam bridge on high speed railway as study object, the whole vehicle model was set up, and the dynamic analysis model of the bridge is established by spatial finite element method.
