With the development of CTP technologies, more and more enterprises start to use CTP. In this paper, the experiment mainly uses the mechanism of Heidelberg CTP and photosensitive polymer plates to make a study and analysis of CTP process of the main quality control parameters. The aim is to improve the printing quality of CTP and help the applications of CTP. The experimental results show that the quality control of CTP is a systematic process. Every step of quality control is very important. When the output resolution is 2400dpi, 2540dpi and 3386dpi, the best basic intensity is 319,480 , the best focus is 210mm, and the best screening lines is 150dpi, 175dpi and 200dpi. At the same time, the experimental results also show that CTP can be very effective to control the dot gain in the printing process.
