Global Warming had become "bazardous effect ' for national -wide and Taiwan. We just propose adaptive strategies for "energy saving and carbon reducing' is not enough. Presently, the relative researches for Global Climate Change are focus on naturaJ and environmental aspects but Spatial Planning or land uses. This paper attempts to investigate the relationship between different land use types and urban carbon nows to connect with sustainable land planning and urban spatial patterns. This paper estimates urban carbon concentration and utilizes the spatial interpolation to make the concentration distribution to realize the relationship between different land use types and carbon flows. It investigated to monitor carbon dioxide concentration in Chiayi City, and used Kriging methods to explore different land use types and carbon flows, as the implementation of low-carbon city in urban spatial planning strategy. The results showed that the relationship between the land-use intensity and development not only absolute relations, but also relatively relations.
