This paper presents the most important findings of the acoustic study conducted in the Auditorium of Granada Manuel de Falla Centre (Spain). This work was built by the architect Jose Maria Garcia de Paredes in 1978 and reopened in 1987, making it one of his most important and beloved works. In the context of the music spaces in Spain, its position is emblematic as it acts as a starting point in the modern conception of these spaces. The work is developed in two parts: 1. Description of project progress to the final construction of the auditorium: Preliminary references of musical rooms, first sketches and blueprints, the evolution of the construction project once the architect comes in touch with the acoustic consultant Lothar Cremer and the changes in the room in his reopening are analysed. 2. Exposure of acoustic simulation results by computer: Sound rays trajectories from the source to the receivers are analysed and acoustic parameters that define its sound quality have been evaluated using the software CATT Acoustic.
