In order to study the height-to-width ratio limits of concrete-filled steel tubular framed structures. First set up the model of concrete-filled steel tubular framed structure. Taking the circular concrete-filled steel tubular as the frame work column, the steel as the framework beam, the connections of beam and column as the rigid joints. Second, de sign a set of frameworks in different height-to-width ratio, based on a comprehensive consideration of the aspects like the structural stiffness, the overall stability, the carrying capacity and economy. Through the analysis can get that when the seismic intensity'is 6 degrees, the limit of concrete-filled steel tubular framed structures is 7. 0,when the seismic intensity of 7 degrees,the limit of concrete-filled steel tubular framed structures is 6. 5. Through these analyses we can obtain the suggestion value of height-to-width ratio of concrete-filled steel tubular framed structure for the engineering design.
