The testing apparatus,method and procedure for the resisting wind uplift of the metal roofing is the autonomous de sign, through loading the air pressure to metal roof system as simulating the load of wind uplift. The testing results show that the the testing method is feasible and fitted for the practical situation of engineering. The metal roof could be designed according to the determinant curve of the capability of the resisting wind uplift from the result The rules and methods stated in this essay could be employed and utilized as the judgement standard of the capability of the resisting wind uplift of metal roof with the seaming connection. This essay fills the specialized gap of this topic in China,and it could also be the technical basis of the relevant standard.
