Real-Time Control System Realized on the Platform of PROFINET Industrial Ethernet

The control system based on PROFINET industrial Ethernet technology is composed of the master, which is PLC Controller CPU315-2PN/DP from Siemens Company, and two slaves, which are a remote I/O (ET200M) and a transducer MM440 linked with PROFINET network through proxy IE/PB_LINK. Hardware configuration and programming are accomplished with STEP7 software, while the supervising of the system is implemented by WinCC software. There are many kinds of information in the control network, while PROFINET industrial Ethernet can meet the real-time request with different level in the system.
