the signature verification is an intelligence challenge, because not in the practical application the forgeries are not available. In this paper, the verification system is conducted based on the local-information. In the paper, we purposed a new function-based method based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and extracted new parameters. This system was accomplished on the collection of svc 2004 signatures and its results was compared with the results of the participated teams in the first international competition of the signature verification experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of our method.
