Development of a Video Communication System for Managing Ambulance

摘要

This paper introduces a video communication system for the 120 ambulance management center. The system uses the message-forwarding-event-triggered mechanism to organize users, open the video connection. The transmission of messages uses ActiveMQ technology. This system provide convenient and reliable video communication services for the emergency situation by using JMF (Java Media Framework) to capture, send and receive video information. The system uses ffmpeg to encode video to H.264 and 3G network as network carrier to provide the mobility needed by the ambulance.
