City Agglomeration-proliferation Equilibrating Mechanism and Non-equilibrium Development in China

摘要

The internal operation mechanism of urbanization process enables economy to be continuously in the dynamic equilibrium state of agglomeration and proliferation through micro-subjects who pursue comparative interests, complementary interests and selection interests, and reallocate resources and economic factors. Local equilibrium should be kept between among collection and proliferation factors, and the agglomeration and proliferation factors should keep general equilibrium simultaneously. Agglomeration-proliferation equilibrium is the precondition and foundation of non-equilibrium development and non-equilibrium development is the objective and end-result. Governments should make use of agglomeration-proliferation equilibrating rules, and promote non-equilibrium development of cities.
