On Perfecting the Payment and Cost Control System of Social Health Insurance Fund in China

摘要

With the rapid growth of the medical demand and medical expenses increase dramatically, it become more and more difficult to control the payments of social health insurance fund and improve the efficiency of payment. To overcome the negative effects of the payment and the cost control system of social health insurance fund, and reconstruct the policy objectives of the current system. To establish the flexible budget for the budget system, increasing government spending; to achieve payment and check with the DRGs in the course of medical services; to regulate the using of basic drugs and to introduce medical experts and insurance experts as "the thirdparty institutions" to run medical insurance fund. All of these are effective ways to improve the payment and the cost control system of social health insurance fund in China.
