摘要

There are many vibration and stability analysis problems in engineering. The problems are usually needed to be converted into solving the matrix eigenvalues. In order to solve these problems effectively, we use the circular disk theorem to determine the distribution regions of the matrix eigenvalues, then solve the eigen values by the Differential Evolution Algorithm(DEA) in the regions. The results show that solving the eigenvalues of a matrix based on the DEA has the characteristics of the higher accuracy and faster speed compared with the traditional methods.
