Research on Improving Identification Technique for Solid Rocket Motor Model Parameters

The identification technique for solid rocket motor model parameters is growing increasingly practical; however, as far as engineering application is concerned, there arise major challenges to the efficiency, robustness and accurpteness of this method and research on the improvement is therefore brought on the agenda. A comprehensive strategy was presented in this research and a corresponding software package was developed with the R programming language, where measures such as wavelet denoising and intuitive data sampling, dynamic adaptation between test data and modeling results and time deviation taken as a model parameter to be identified were included. Pressure-time traces from a solid rocket motor firing with typical finocyl grain was employed for the identification practice, and the feasibility, trustworthiness, and effectiveness of this method was verified.
