Experimental Study on Methane Explosion Propagation in T Type Duct and Its Theoretical Analysis

摘要

To master the propagation law of methane explosion in T type laneway, the explosion wave overpressure and flame velocity of methane explosion in T type duct were experimentally measured in this paper, and the propagation process was theoretically analyzed. It shows that the shock wave takes on the complicated stress state and the flame takes on complicated change rules in the T type duct, the propagation process of methane explosion in T type duct is the mutual action of ex'plosion wave, flame and complicated flow. The effect of T type duct on the flame velocity and overpressure is obvious, and the destruction in pipe tee T is serious. The effect of T type duct on methane explosion propagation is determined by the comprehensive action between the stimulation factors and suppression factors. Consequently, during the process of mine exploitation and laneway design, the T type laneway should be avoided and the obstruction should be eliminated as much as possible. When the T type laneway is unavoidable, the relevant preventive measures should be adopted to suppress the methane explosion propagation, depress the intensity and diminish the loss due to gas explosion, according to the propagation rules.
