摘要

One model test device of disk-piles with different disk quantities was designed to study the uplift bearing capacity. Uplift loading tests were carried out on the pile models with single, double and three disks respectively. It was found the uplift bearing capacity of piles with more disks wasn't greater than that of fewer disks. The bearing capacity of the double-disk piles were the most great. The bearing capacity of the three-disk piles was smaller than that of the double-disk piles and was the smallest for single-disk piles in the test. The results were mainly related to the embedded depth of the upper disk of three-disk piles and the specific destroyed mode. This study showed that the bearing capacity performance was different when they under uplift and compression condition. The load transfer mechanism of different disk-piles based on the changes of pile axial force was studied in the tests. The pressure variation of soil with different disk quantities where they were under the loading process was analyzed. Changes on pressure of soil around single and double-disk piles were more complicated, what of the three-disk piles was relatively simple.
