Research on and Evaluation of Urban Traffic Management Measures during Road Reconstruction: A Case Study in Harbin

The traffic management measures during urban road reconstruction are very important and necessary. When a city is under road reconstruction, effective traffic management measures perform a decisive role in resident trip, construction progress, city image and so on. After analysis of the problems road reconstructions may bring, available traffic management measures and effect evaluation method are given. Combining Harbin's present road reconstruction situation, the effect evaluation method is put into actual practice. According to the analyzed valuable traffic management measures during urban road reconstruction, improvement suggestions are given.
