A pilot study was performed to verify the troubles involved in the implementation ofdosimetric protocol TRS 398 for absorbed-dose-to-water, using clinical high-energy electron beamsand to accomplish an detailed evaluation of uncertainty chain components associated to themeasurement, which ones were not treated in the IAEA protocols, aimed the standardization oftechnical procedures.
