A graph-based prediction method for electrical wiring in old residential buildings as a part of BIM for Urban Mining purposes

The paper presents a concept for determining the location of the electrical wiring in a flat in old residential buildings in Germany. The implementation of the method requires the availability of floor plans of the flat either as physical documents or as digital files which have to be completed with the approximate position of the electrical outlets on the walls. The aim is to show how the single electrical outlets are connected to each other considering the wiring zones allowed by the German norms.
