This paper presents an investigation of dual launch lunar architecture optionsfor conducting missions to the Moon. Altair and Orion payload requirementsfor the dual launch mission concept with Lunar Orbit Rendezvous (LOR) arecomputed for three architecture options, each with a different way of accommodatingmultiple Orion launch opportunities at the Earth. Benefits and drawbacksof each option are discussed and the overall mission performance iscompared with that of the Constellation Program lunar architecture.
